Our Vision
We believe in a society where everyone belongs, through sport
Our Mission
To shape a movement that ensures young affected by crisis thrive through sport.
Our Goals
- Sport systems at local, national, and international levels are safer, more supportive, and more inclusive of individuals and communities affected by crisis, including displacement.
- Sport is systematically embedded in responses to individuals and communities affected by crisis, including displacement, at local, national, and international levels.
- Sport drives greater awareness and more positive perceptions of individuals and communities affected by crisis, including displacement, fostering empathy and solidarity at local, national, and international levels.
The ORF’s 2025-2030 strategy aims to improve the Foundation’s effectiveness and sharpen our focus on the way in which we work. Over this strategic period, we will balance the need for innovation, programme sustainability, and systemic transformation.
We will focus on three strategic pillars which form the framework for our strategic plan:
- Catalyse: Catalysing or accelerating new ideas.
- Sustain: Sustaining and consolidating proven initiatives.
- Transform: Creating transformative change in the humanitarian-sport ecosystem.
Each pillar is distinct, but they are also designed to flow into and reinforce one another. Ideas piloted under ‘Catalyse’ feed into longer-term work under ‘Sustain’; and the evidence and momentum we build there, positions us to ‘Transform’ systems.
Together we can achieve more.
